Community Centre

Riley Park Community Centre has facilities that inculde a gymnasium, games room, fitness centre, kitchens and several multi-purpose rooms. Beyond the main structure of the centre there exist sports fields, a playground, outdoor basketball hoop, a wading pool, pottery studio and a bouldering rock.

The wider centre also incorporates The Percy Norman Swimming Pool and the Riley Park Ice Rink. This variety of facilities allows diverse programming that cater to and reach the diverse needs of Riley Park’s community.

A new facility is being built at Hillcrest Park to be used as the 2010 Winter Olympic Games curling venue. Subsequent to the Olympics ending, the Riley Park Community Association will be moving its operations to the Hillcrest facility and continuing to provide the services it currently does but with the improved capacity and variety provided by the new facility.
